How your Guides are made

Every Guide is written fresh, for one person, from that person’s Birkman results. Here’s exactly what goes in, how the Guides get deeper, and where your consultant fits.

The ingredients

What your Guides are built from

Your Birkman Signature Report. That’s the source. The assessment you took measured how you usually behave, what you need from your environment, and what happens under stress. Your Guides are written against those results and nothing else. No questionnaires about your zodiac sign, no guessing from your job title, no recycled paragraphs that could belong to anyone.

The writing itself is done by AI working under the interpretation standards we built across 45 years of Advanced Certified Birkman consulting, with human review woven through. Your results are used to write your Guides and for nothing else. The AI is contractually barred from training on your data.

The depth

Guides get deeper as your consultant adds more

1

Your Signature Report

The foundation. Every Guide is written from it, and a Guide written from it alone is a complete Guide.

2

Plus a preparation interview

When a consultant has sat with you before your feedback session, that context sharpens the writing. The Guide knows more about the life your pattern lives in.

3

Plus your feedback session

The deepest version. A consultant’s summary of your session carries what you said, what landed, and what you’re working on. Guides written with it speak to your actual questions.

One thing we want to be plain about: more material makes a Guide sharper, not more true. A Guide from your Signature Report alone stands on its own. Each layer your consultant adds is depth, never repair.

The human

The role of the consultant

Every Birkman starts with a consultant. Someone administered your assessment and sat with you while your results became real. That feedback session is irreplaceable. The human context, the real-time conversation, the interpretation that only happens between two people. No Guide replaces it, and no Guide tries.

Some work belongs to a person in the room. When a Guide approaches territory that needs one, family stakes, developmental questions, a conversation that shouldn’t happen on paper, it says so and points you back to a consultant. That sentence is a feature of the product, not a limitation of it.

The colleagues

If your consultant wasn’t us

Then you had a good one, and we’re glad. Your consultant did the part no platform can do. Bringing your results here doesn’t undo their work or end that relationship. It extends what they started, on your timeline, for the moments between conversations.

Our rules with other consultants are simple. Your results are yours, so we’ll always help you use them. We treat every Birkman consultant as a colleague, never a competitor. We don’t step between you and yours, and if they want to add depth to your Guides or bring their whole practice here, our door is open.
